Cole Tankersley is the Vice President of Construction Management for Pillar and its client companies. Cole assists in the oversight of all aspects of construction operations, including project planning,execution, and delivery for Pillar-affiliated developments across Texas andbeyond.

Cole brings over 24 years of leadership experience in personnel, program, and construction management, with more than 15 years dedicated to managing large-scale construction projects across Texas,California, Japan, San Clemente Island, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar,Kuwait, and Bahrain. Prior to joining Pillar, he served as Senior Project Manager with Carleton Companies, where he led the construction of multifamily projects throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area. He has also held leadership positions with the City of Denton and served over 20 years in the U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps (Seabees), directing construction efforts in support of U.S. and allied operations worldwide.

Cole holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and a Master of Science in Project Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland.  He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®).
